  • 0

The following settings can be used to configure your email client on your computer or smart device.

Secure TSL/SSL

(reccommended)

NON-SSL

Incoming server

r8-sydney.webserversystems.com

mail.[yourdomain]
eg. mail.nuwebnz.com

POP3 Port 995 110
IMAP Port 993 143

Outgoing server

r8-sydney.webserversystems.com

mail.[yourdomain]
eg. mail.nuwebnz.com
SMTP Port 465 2525

Username  Default account login, or [emailname]@[yourdomain]
Password  Your account or email address password

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

Notes:

  • IMAP leaves the emails on your hosted account, allowing you to access the emails from multiple devices eg PC, Laptop, Phone.
  • POP3 downloads the emails onto your email client, this usually deletes the emails on your hosted account
  • We recommend that you use Secure SSL/TLS for IMAP or POP3 because they provide increased security for your interactions with the remote mail server.
